J.H. Colton’s Dissected Maps 1860 UNITED STATES
RARE – NORTH SOUTH AMERICA ASIA EUROPE AFRICA SERIES
J.H. Colton’s Series of Dissected Maps. North America. South America. Europe. United States. Asia. Africa. In Two Sizes

J.H. Colton was from New York.

This is the map of the United States.

This Colton puzzle map uses the map of the United States that first appeared in Colton’s Cabinet Atlas of 1859, and was later used in Colton’s School Atlas of 1864 and American School Quarto Geography of 1865. The puzzle itself is undated, but the map is copyrighted in 1860. (I’ve researched this to be correct, if this is wrong would you please let me know.)

With this puzzle there is 32 peices. It looks like 3 pieces are missing, but they are the small pieces. (Please look at the pictures for more detail.) Box measures 6.5″ x 5.5″.
This is currently for sale on Ebay-I am selling for a client of mine. But if you’re interested you’d better look fast…it’ll be going going gone soon. This is a rare puzzle indeed!

1887 McLoughlin Bros Fire Engine Puzzle in Wooden Box

This puzzle is extremely rare and only 2 pieces are missing. If I counted correctly I have 67 of 69 pieces. Puzzle measures 25″ x 18″. This is truly a wonderful find, and finding another one is hard to find in the shape of quality. When the puzzle is assembled there are like mentioned 2 pieces missing but also 2 pieces that have been taped together. With a little TLC it is mend-able.
You can find it here for sale- or perhaps if it was already sold then maybe not.

1880′s Life Size Harness Horse

This beautiful horse came from Missouri back in the day. Now my client wants to part with it. This horse has Real horsehair where it counts and glass eyes. The ears are removable and made out of cast iron, the legs are also made from cast iron. The horse is attached to the base as you will see in the pictures below. The mouth moves- this was made this way- I would assume to show how to harness a horse with all the gear. The base is original, and the horse is made of wood with what we believe to be a plaster casting or paper mache type material over the wood.

As you can also see by the pictures the horse has the body parts as where they count as well. (See pictures for the detail).

Color is dapple gray and paint is 95% & original. This being extremely heavy -I can’t get a good shot of the side of the horse. The side by the wall that is. You can see a couple of shots of the side.

You can see how big it is in comparison to the wall and items around it.

The important measurements are as follows:

62″ Middle of Back Height

99″ Full Body Length

83 1/2″ Top of Head to floor not including the ears though

36″ Bottom of Belly to floor

This delivery cart is from Seneca, Kansas & which was part of the Pony Express Trail. This is a ONE ~OF~A~KIND ~ Deal we have for you today. Perfect for the Holidays-

This Cart/Wagon has the Original paint, Wheels, Windows- Everything is Original, Even the STOVE. Yes the stove comes with-it’s been with the cart the entire time and it is coming now. Everything else you see in the picture is not included. Thus everything is in a tight corner, and it’s hard to get around in here.

Let me explain: You will NEVER find an original stove when you purchase a wagon like this ever. This truly is going to be a fantastic buy, an investment that will last forever.

The shafts are original w/ a minor break @ one end of the shaft. You will also be getting the Handle to tighten the Wheels. One of the windows is missing the glass. As you look at the pictures you will notice that there is alot of extras in this picture. You will be getting only the Cart/Wagon & the Stove. Not any accessories that you see in the picture. This cart is one of a few left in the United States with the Original Paint still on it, in very readable shape I might add!

Like I mentioned the stove does come with- it is a Riddel’s Pat’d, Safety Stove Repair Company, North Western Chicago.

C 1890′s Angora Hair SaddleBags Saddle Bags w/ A Buffalo Pictorial

This is possibly a Collins & Morrison, however no markings are present.

This is believed to be One Of The Best In The World & should be in a Museum. This is very similar to Buffalo Bill’s Famous Saddlebags.

Great Buffalo Pictorial on each side.

Excellent Condition with Carpet Bag Interior.

Measurements of Saddle Bags are 34″ x 14- this is measuring from the top of the leather to the bottom of the hair. If you lift up the Hair to reveal the carpet you will see the pocket which measures 15″ x 11″. You will see my 5yr old daughter standing next to them. This is so you have an idea of size. This is one just one side.

These are in wonderful shape for their age it’s all there.

This was given to the 1st Place Saddle Bronc Riding Winner, however the winner is unknown due to poor record keeping in the 1930′s. It could be that this is earlier than 1930′s maybe late 1920′s. The information is something rare indeed. If you would happen to know the name of the person who won this-please do share. As I’ve come up short handed in trying to locate this information.

The saddle is of very dark leather, almost a very dark brown, I’ve seen other black ones and I think that this is not that dark.

This is in MINT Condition with a few minor dents on the swells. This can be fixed by a professional. There is Pictures of a Cowboy on each of the Legstraps, you should be able to see these by the shots provided.

The markings show:

This is on the back of the seat———————————————————————————————-

First Place Saddle Bronc Riding American Royal Livestock and Rodeo Presented By Kansas City Stockyards

Underneath the horn is another silver marking that shows:

RHODES Maker Kansas City, MO – SILVER by HUGH MILLER Olathe, Kansas

I am selling this for a client and this has been in a private collection for many years. It has never been shown to the public- this is truly a ONE-OF-A-KIND Parade Saddle. All the silver is Sterling. Complete with a 16″ seat. This is a beautiful saddle and the Flower Tooling is excellent.
